Maj. Gen. Viet X. Luong, Eighth Army deputy commanding general for operations, and his wife, Kimberly S. Luong, are given awards for their service in Eighth Army by Lt. Gen. Michael A. Bills, Eighth Army commanding general, at Eighth Army Headquarters, U.S. Army Garrison Humphreys, Aug. 8. Luong will soon take over as the new incoming commanding general for U.S. Army Japan (USARJ) after the dedication that he and his wife gave to Eighth Army since July 2017.
