The Auditor General (TAG) Award for Excellence

FORT BELVOIR, VA -- On May 23, 2018, an award ceremony was held at the Fort Belvoir Officer's Club to recognize the 2017 recipients of the annual Auditor General Award for Excellence. The recipients were joined by proud family, friends, and co-workers.

The Auditor General Award for Excellence recognizes employees whose outstanding accomplishments help maximize the agency's ability to deliver its mission and significantly contribute to making the agency a high-performing organization in one or more of the following categories: Leadership; Commitment; Innovation; Collaboration; Communication.

In addition to the TAG Award for Excellence, the following new award categories were established this year: Rising Star of the Year; Auditor-in-Charge (AIC) of the Year; Outstanding Mission Support Achievement; Outstanding Achievements by a Team.

Any agency employee can be nominated by a subordinate, peer, or supervisor. Award recipients receive a trophy and one of Army's highest levels of honorary recognition in the form of either the Achievement Medal for Civilian Service, Commander's Award for Civilian Service, or Superior Civilian Service Award.
