The exercise validated the Division's ability to deploy a brigade combat team with attached enablers on short notice. The DRE began with an out load of thousands of pieces of equipment, followed by a joint forcible entry operation onto a contested airfield and concluded with air assault missions to seize enemy-occupied urban strongholds.
