America's First Corps Commander, Lt. Gen. Gary Volesky, leads nearly 20,000 Soldiers in celebration of the Army's 243rd birthday by running four miles on June 14, 2018, at Joint Base Lewis-McChord. This year's Army birthday coincided with I Corps' Centennial Birthday and marked the first time that the entirety of the unit has run in a single formation in almost a decade.
