1st Lt. Corey LeBlanc and 1st Lt. Christopher Campbell graduated from the Interservice Physician Assistant Program -- Physician Assistant Class 16-01, which is affiliated with the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Medicine, during a June 8, 2018, ceremony at Trophy Point, West Point, N.Y.

Both graduates will have conferred upon them a Masters' degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center's, College of Medicine; and will receive a diploma from the U.S. Army Academy of Health Sciences.

1st Lt. LeBlanc and 1st Lt. Campbell selected Dr. Neomie Friedman, M.D., to be the class preceptor and presented her with the 'Preceptor of the Cycle Award' plaque. Each cycle, the graduating students select a preceptor, whom they recognize for their outstanding support in education and mentorship. The plaque hangs outside of Keller's Family Practice Clinic with the names of those who have been recognized by previous graduating classes. LeBlanc and Campbell recognized Dr. Friedman for her exceptional participation in their education, her dedication to mentorship, and her devotion to the solidarity of the physician assistant profession.
