Dragon Boat Racing is held during Japan's "Golden Week," which begins at the end of April and is celebrated throughout Japan including the island of Okinawa. The "Army Ladies" Team whose motto is ''One Boat, One Beat," tied for first place and can be seen here preparing for the race to begin.
