Twenty students and faculty from Morning Star Academy, Bettendorf, Iowa, toured Rock Island Arsenal, Illinois, April 27. The field trip included visits to the museum, Quarters 1, the Lock and Dam, the Clock Tower and an outdoor static display. The students were given a coin from the museum marking RIA's 100th anniversary back in 1962.

Founded in 1994, Morning Star Academy is an independent, non-denominational, classical Christian school. The school offers preschool through 12th grade.
