USAG DAEGU, South Korea - 27 members of the Gyeongbuk Military Merit Awardee Association visited Cp. Carroll, Feb 28. All members are war heroes who were decorated for their heroic actions during the Korean War or the Vietnam War. The heroes showed excitement as they visited Camp Carroll, the U.S. Army base where the descendants of their brothers-in-arms are stationed, and were briefed on the mission and history of the base during a windshield tour.

Visitors stopped by the Materiel Support Command - Korea Heavy Equipment Division shop where ground tactical vehicles operated by United States Forces Korea are located.

"I, as a Korean War Veteran, comfort myself by the fact that our alliance between the ROK and U.S. is so concrete," said Mr. Kim, Hwa-seok, President, Chilgok MMAA.

"And I am certain that this blood alliance will become stronger through this state-of-the-art equipment."
