Here, Langston poses with "Batty," a blue-and-gold macaw, provided by George's Birds of the Monterey Peninsula. Langston, an Air Guardsman's son, said that he's always wanted a parrot, and this was his first time ever holding one.

George said that he's a proud supporter of all of the military events in the area, and enjoys watching children interact with the birds, some of whom he's trained for three years.
