The 2nd Battalion, 48th Infantry Regiment bowling team won their fifth consecutive game in as many weeks, squeaking past the 14th Military Police Brigade, 2,314 to 2,141, March 1 at Daugherty Bowling Center.
Heading into tonight's games, which will be the halfway point of the 12-week season, the 2-28th Inf. Bn. is the only team without a loss, and will seek to build on its season record of 5-0.
Plenty of challengers remain, however, with four teams tied for second place in the standings with records of 4-1, including the 1st Battalion, 48th Infantry Regiment; the 14th MP Bde., the 3rd Chemical Brigade and the 1st Engineer Brigade.
Scores represent the total number of pins knocked down, with each four-person team playing a total of three games.
