CHIÈVRES, Belgium -- On March 1 to 2, the U.S. Army Garrison Benelux Leadership Offsite Phase III took place in Schinnen, The Netherlands, with the senior managers from all locations.
The offsite was a great opportunity to build on the strength of diversity within the USAG Benelux.
"Everyone had something unique to offer, everyone had an insight that added value to the discussion, the organization, and the mission", stated Army Master Sgt. Anthony Cassetta, provost sergeant in Chièvres Air Base, Belgium.
For two days, the managers gathered to discuss garrison priorities and to develop recommendations to address different areas of the SWOT analysis. "The Benelux offsite provided me the opportunity to think big, outside of my own area of expertise, and focus on the big picture: how do we want to move forward with our garrison and successfully meet the mission," said Patrick Maessen, management analyst in Schinnen.
