GRAFENWOEHR, Germany--Brig. Gen. Aguto hosted over 35 distinguished visitors for a Local Leaders Day during Dynamic Front 18 at the Grafenwoehr Training Area, here, 05 Mar., 2018.

Dynamic Front 18 is a U.S. Army-led exercise focusing on the integration of joint fires and allied artillery interoperability at the Grafenwoehr Training Area, Feb. 23 - March 10, 2018. The exercise will feature approximately 3,700 participants from 26 allied and partner nations.

Col. Lindner, Chief of Staff for 7th ATC, led the visit and began with a brief overview of what 7th ATC provides to our host nation and allies in the form of a centralized training area. Town Mayors and Polizei Officers then moved to observe 2CR Artillerymen conducting fire missions.

The invitation from Brig. Gen. Aguto and the staff at 7th Army Training Command, provided the perfect opportunity for 12th CAB leadership to engage community leaders from areas surrounding the airfield. It also allowed for the 12th CAB to fly the mayors along the normal traffic patterns flown by the 12th CAB and rotational aviation forces.

The orientation flights provided local mayors and members of the Ansbach County Commission the opportunity to observe the local flight patterns first hand from the window of a CH-47 Chinook helicopter.
