Col. David Gibson, commander, Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, honored CRDAMC's community partners recently. Numerous Central Texas educational institutions, hospitals and local leadership attended the ceremony, which was held Dec. 8 at the fort hood hospital.
During the ceremony, Colonel Gibson stressed the importance of building strong partnerships in achieving Soldier readiness and providing exceptional hospital experiences to its beneficiaries and the community. A silent art auction also was held with proceeds donated to Combined Federal Campaign. The event also recognized Gold Star families who were invited to help decorate the hospital's holiday trees by hanging Gold Star ornaments in memory of their fallen loved one
