ANSBACH, Germany (Dec. 7, 2017) - Outreach-KONTAKT Franken, the German-American friendship club of U.S. Army Garrison Ansbach, celebrated a fun year of German-American friendship with their annual holiday dinner. The dinner serves as a conclusion of a year filled with bustling activities. More than 40 people gathered at a local restaurant despite their busy holiday schedule to share traditional turkey, ham and lots of tasty sides and desserts.

The German and American members of the friendship club get together for regular meetings twice a month in local restaurants just to chat and spend time with each other. Throughout the year they plan and conduct many events and activities, meet for barbecues, take trips together, go bowling of play miniature golf, and enjoy each other's company. Outreach-KONTAKT is known to forge lifelong friendships that continue over the years, even when military life moves them apart.

All interested community members are invited to join in the fun, meet some new friends and learn more about the people and the country they are living in. To learn more about Outreach-KONTAKT Franken, visit https://www.facebook.com/OutreachKONTAKTFranken or call 0981-183-7786 or DSN 468-7786.
