PICATINNY ARSENAL, N.J. - Approximately 30 cadets enrolled at the United States Military Academy at West Point visited Picatinny Arsenal on Nov. 30 and spoke with engineers from the U.S. Army Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center.

The cadets are taking the Mechanical Engineering Weapons Engineering Course and have received an undergraduate overview of interior, exterior, and terminal ballistics.

"The cadets were provided with an opportunity to engage with the scientists and engineers at the world premiere center for weapon system development, " said Lt. Col. Joshua Keena, Course Director for the Weapons Engineering and Automotive Engineering at the academy's Department of Civil and Mechanical Engineering.

"The cadets got to see how weapon system design, testing, and fabrication is done in support of the modern warfighter," Keena added.
