WIESBADEN, Germany -- U.S. Army Europe announced the winners of the 2017 Frederick E. Vollrath Human Resource Award for Excellence Program Dec. 12.

The winners are:

- Capt. H. David A. Hannon, 509th Signal Battalion, 2nd Signal Brigade, Vicenza, Italy

- Chief Warrant Officer 2 Vance W. Frazier II, 30th Medical Brigade, 21st Theater Sustainment Command, Sembach, Germany

- Staff Sgt. Taisha R. Allen, Allied Forces South Battalion, U.S. Army NATO Brigade, Naples, Italy

- Spc. Sebrina N. Shelton, 5-7 Air Defense Artillery Battalion, 10th Army Air & Missile Defense Command, Kaiserslautern, Germany

- Deborah McGlothlin, Installation Management Agency Command Europe, Sembach, Germany

- Daniel Washington, Jr., United States Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz, Baumholder, Germany

The Vollrath program focuses on annual achievements for those who serve in the human resources profession. Vollrath retired after his 35-year career in the adjutant general field, and he was only the second AG officer to be promoted to lieutenant general.

The winners will receive their Vollrath award at a ceremony scheduled from 1 to 2 p.m. in the Truscott Room of the Gen. John Shalikashvili Mission Command Center on Clay Kaserne here Jan. 10.
