Fort Jackson assisted Henry McMaster, South Carolina governor, ring in the holidays by participating in the annual Governor's Carolighting celebration on the statehouse steps. At the celebration the 282nd Army Band provided music while Maj. Gen. Pete Johnson, Fort Jackson commander, and his wife sat with McMaster.
