Detroit Arsenal Senior Service College Fellows Lisa Gronowski, Munira Tourner, Andy DiMarco, John Hufstedler, Mike Sawyers, Mike Dunne, and Harsha Desai and Detroit Arsenal Associate Amy Kozlowski graduated from The Program Managers Course (PMT401) on November 17, 2017.
PMT 401 is designed to improve DoD acquisition outcomes by strengthening the analytical, critical thinking, and decision making skills of leaders of major defense acquisition program and program support organizations. The Detroit Arsenal fellows completed their last week of PMT401 in Huntsville, Ala. along with the Huntsville and Aberdeen fellows.
The graduation keynote speaker was Dale Ormond, the principal director, research in the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense (Research and Engineering). He spoke to the fellows about the many changes occurring in the Army. In addition, Andy DiMarco was presented with the Peer-to-Peer Teacher Award, as selected by the entire PMT 401 student body. Completion of PMT 401 is a significant accomplishment and a major milestone in the Senior Service College Fellowship program.
