Munson has started a new program that will allow for patients to resolve medical issues quickly to improve their patient experience. Customer service is a key element of patient satisfaction and Munson strives to exceed patient expectations when seeking care in our facility.
Healthcare is a partnership between the patient and the healthcare professionals at Munson. As part of that communication, it is important that the patient take an active role in their healthcare experience. Knowing who to go for resolution has now become easier with the Orange Badge Program.
"Orange Badges should communicate, I can help you resolve your issue and I can help insure that the care you are receiving is truly in the spirit of partnership and your best interest," said Col. David Cassella, Commander Munson Army Health Center.
Designated leaders in our organization will wear a bright orange badge and are empowered by the Commander to resolve problems at the lowest level. The staff will work with the orange badge team to achieve prompt resolution to the patient's problem.
Our patient advocates are also available to help solve problems and help navigate our healthcare system. For questions about the Orange Badge program contact Public Affairs at 684-6343.
