Flower beds for spring planting. A dog house, club house or even a porch. Flooring. Who knew you could build so many new things with old pallets? The best part: The Fort Knox Recycle Center still has pallets, they are still free, and best of all the folks at the center would like to help budding palletists with lots of DIY and art project ideas.

The pallets can be picked up Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Recycle Center at 309 Frazier Rd., Bldg. 2962, to get what you need.

And after you build that masterpiece with the pallets, the Qualified Recycle Program staff want to see it and share your idea. Those interested in showing off their work are asked to email pictures to army.knox.qrp@mail.mil.
