HONOLULU -- Col. Andrew M. Barr (left), Commander of Tripler Army Medical Center, or Tripler, and Anita F. Clingerman (right), Manager of Tripler Fisher House, honor the founder of the Fisher House Foundation, Zachary Fisher, on Sept. 26, during a special ceremony at the Tripler Fisher House. Mr. Fisher established the Fisher House Program in 1990 dedicating over $20 million to support our wounded military members and families. Now there are 72 Fisher Houses in the world and two are here in Hawaii located at Tripler Army Medical Center. Annually, the Tripler Fisher Houses host about 150 families from all over the Pacific region who receive care at Tripler.
