WIESBADEN, Germany -- More than 200 key senior leaders from across the U.S. Army Europe footprint gathered here, Sept. 12-14 for the 2017 U.S. Army Europe Summer Commander's Conference.
The U.S. Army Europe Commanding General, Lt. Gen. Ben Hodges, hosts the conference twice a year with brigade commanders, sergeants' majors, NATO allies and partners to discuss operational readiness, and a host of other key issues that enhance the understanding of U.S. Army Europe's strategic vision.
The theme for the summer conference is '2018 Year of Integration.'

The relationships we build during more than 1,000 theater security cooperation events in more than 40 countries each year lead directly to support for multinational contingency operations around the world, strengthen regional partnerships and enhance global security.
