WIESBADEN, Germany -- More than 200 key senior leaders from across the U.S. Army Europe footprint gathered here, Sept. 12-14 for the 2017 U.S. Army Europe Summer Commander's Conference.

The U.S. Army Europe Commanding General, Lt. Gen. Ben Hodges, hosts the conference twice a year with brigade commanders, sergeants' majors, NATO allies and partners to discuss operational readiness, and a host of other key issues that enhance the understanding of U.S. Army Europe's strategic vision.

The theme for the summer conference is '2018 Year of Integration.'
