A group of Soldiers from Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center's Troop Command recently surprised Saegert Elementary teachers with backpacks full of school supplies. During their August 25 visit to the Fort Hood hospital's adopted school, the command team presented the teachers with random supplies, as well more than 50 backpack that will be distributed to select students. The supplies were donated via CRDAMC employees during the annual school-supply drive. In addition, Troop command' commander, Lt. Col. Scott Stokoe, along with the unit's top enlisted advisor, Command Sgt. Maj. Dave Francis, met with the teachers and told them the team looks forward to another year of great partnering.
