WIESBADEN, Germany -- U.S. Army Europe held a patching ceremony to officially welcome the incoming Deputy Commanding General for Mobilization and Reserve Affairs here, Aug. 30.

During the ceremony, Lt. Gen. Ben Hodges, commanding general of U.S. Army Europe, placed the command's patch on Brig. Gen. Kate Leahy's uniform.

The ceremony commemorates Leahy being assigned the new deputy commanding general and the director of the command's Army Reserve Engagement Cell.
