The new school year at Fort Jackson began Tuesday morning, but the post's Youth Sports department

got things started a little early with a color run Saturday. Runners of all ages began to line up at 9 a.m. at the Youth Sports Complex, where they darted through clouds of colored chalk dust as they made their way around the course. Afterward, children enjoyed a variety of activities set up at the location, including an obstacle course, a bounce house and kick ball games.
