Acting Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics and Technology/Acting Army Acquisition Executive Steffanie B. Easter made an early-August trip to the Motor City to visit one of her largest direct reporting units, Program Executive Office for Combat Support and Combat Service Support. She spent Aug. 3 receiving overviews and updates on PEO Combat Support and Combat Service Support's truly diverse equipment portfolio. The PEO CS&CSS team manages the lifecycle of approximately 250 programs -- 150 in active management -- spanning most or all of the equipment in the Army's Transportation, Ordnance, Engineer, and Quartermaster portfolios.
