FOB Rustamiyah officially handed over to Iraqi government

BAGHDAD - Iraqi Army soldiers take part in the handover of Forward Operating Base Rustamiyah during a transfer ceremony on the base March 31 in eastern Baghdad. The ceremony officially handed the base over from U.S. forces to the Iraqi government. The Baghdad base is the first main compound handed back to the Iraqi government since the signing of the security agreement signed by the U.S. and Iraqi government late last year.
