ROCK ISLAND ARSENAL, Ill.--Joint Munitions Command (JMC) Commander, Col. Heidi J. Hoyle, held her first Walk Around on 20 July in order to meet JMC staff members. Traditionally, JMC Commanders conduct a Walk Around of the JMC Headquarters in Building 350 at the start of their tenure. Col. Hoyle took command of JMC on 18 July.

The purpose of the walk-around is two-fold. JMC teammates get an opportunity to meet the new commander and ask questions. Also, the commander gets acquainted with the layout of the building and the location and duties of directorates within the command.
