Kandahar Sustainment Soldiers take '60 Kg Challenge'

Spc. Carl T. Springfels, a supply specialist with the 143d Expeditionary Sustainment Command's Headquarters and Headquarters Company, lifts a 60 kg barbell March 28 during the '60 Kg Challenge' held in the U.K. Fitness Centre at Kandahar Air Field, Afghanistan. As part of the competition, each lifter bench-pressed as many repetitions as possible in one minute. The first place winner received a percentage of the cash prize, while the remainder went to Help for Heroes, a British charity for wounded troops."
