Sgt. Maj. George T. Harwick accepts a noncommissioned officer sword from Col. Paul J. Kassebaum, Kenner Army Health Clinic commander, during an assumption of responsibility ceremony in Wylie Hall Auditorium June 23. The sword-passing signified Harwick's assumption of the top enlisted leader position at Kenner. First Sgt. Don R. Berry has served as interim Kenner SGM for the past seven months after the retirement of SGM Wesley Beene. Harwick comes to Kenner from his previous assignment as chief clinical NCO for the First Medical Brigade, Fort Hood, Texas.
