Tripler chaplain offers support during 25ID best unit ministry team competition

HONOLULU (June 16, 2017) - Capt. Ryan McKinnon (left), Tripler Army Medical Center chaplain clinician, offers grief counseling during the 25th Infantry Division's Best Unit Ministry Team (UMT) competition held May 1-4. The competition is designed to test chaplains and their support staff on religious support and basic Soldier competencies and skills, in order to develop ready, professional and strong religious leaders. Army chaplaincy plays an integral role at Tripler Army Medical Center providing spiritual care to support patients, their families and staff members.
