HONOLULU (May 30, 2017) - Maj. Gen. David E. Wilmot, Deputy Surgeon General for the Army National Guard (left) is greeted by Col. Andrew M. Barr, Commander of Tripler Army Medical Center, also known as TAMC, Hawaii. Wilmot who also serves as the Interim Assistant Surgeon General for Force Projection and Interim Deputy Chief of Staff (Quality and Safety) visited TAMC's Simulation Center, Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit's and Interdisciplinary Pain Management Clinic. Wilmot also received a protocol facility orientation tour to learn the honored history of TAMC. TAMC enables Total Force Readiness by providing safe, high quality, patient-centered healthcare to Soldiers, Families and Veterans across the Pacific region. TAMC conserves the fighting strength through the provision of care, training, education, research and support.
