By Fort Leonard Wood Public Affairs OfficeMay 24, 2017

The Piney Valley Golf Course is scheduled to be open, weather permitting,

from 5 p.m. to dusk Thursday, May 25, to foot traffic only as FLW 26, the

road that leads to the golf course, continues to be closed for road work.

Golf course patrons are asked to park at the gravel parking areas before the

bridge and then walk across the bridge to access the course. Rounds of golf

will be free on Thursday, May 25, though patrons must bring their own clubs.

Rentals and other services provided by the clubhouse will not be available

Thursday. Private pull carts will be permitted.

The golf course is also scheduled to be open, weather permitting, from 8

a.m. to dusk, Friday, May 26, through Sunday, May 28, and from 8 a.m. to 5

p.m., Monday, May 29. All normal fees for golf and other services, to

include cart rentals, will apply during those times.

The clubhouse will remain closed and food service will not be available

during this time, though FMWR employees will be on-site and a mobile office

will be available to provide assistance. We apologize for any inconvenience

and appreciate your patience as we work to get our facilities back to

normal.

For more information about the golf course, please contact FMWR's Business

Recreation Office at 573.596.0241.
