NIINISALO, Finland -- U.S. troopers from the 2nd Cavalry Regiment are training with Finnish and Norwegian Soldiers for the Finnish Army's exercise Arrow 17 in Pohjankangas, here, May 2-13.

The mechanized armor exercise's objective is to enhance interoperability and capability of mechanized units in offensive combat.

The troopers were from 2nd Cavalry Regiment's 1st Squadron's Apache Troop, which is headquartered in Vilseck, Germany.

This year's exercise marks the second time the 2nd Cavalry Regiment troopers are talking part in an exercise with Finnish and Norwegian conscript Soldiers.

This year is the first year the Norwegian Soldiers are taking part in the exercise.
