The leadership of Keller Army Community Hospital's Dept. of Pathology was recognized, during a May 1, 2017, ceremony, at Keller, for receiving the Defense Health Agency's Medical Education and Training Campus Dean's Excellence in Teaching Award for calendar years 2015 and 2016.

The recognition was for the laboratory's tireless pursuit of excellence and exceptional performance while providing training to the medical laboratory technician students, and obtaining a 100% passing rate on the American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification examination during the 2015 and 2016 calendar years.

Their diligence and dedication greatly contributed to the development of highly qualified medical laboratory technicians.
