WIESBADEN, Germany -- Media are invited to a press conference April 26, 2017 at 1730 at Clay Kaserne with General Curtis Scaparrotti, Commander, U.S. European Command.
General Scaparrotti will make remarks and take questions at the conclusion of U.S. European Command's hosted, European Chiefs of Defense Conference: Counter-Violent Extremists Organizations in Europe. Dozens of senior leaders from around Europe attended the conference to discuss how better to counter the threat posed by terrorism.
There will no opportunities for media to attend working group sessions of the conference. Photos will be released at www.eucom.mil and www.facebook.com/eucom.
Media must RSVP by April 25, 2017 at noon (1200) to email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org.
Media should provide:
1. Outlet affiliation
2. Full name

5. Passport number
6. Expiration date
7. Mode of transportation to the Clay Kaserne gate and plate number
Media should arrive at the gate no later than 1600 April 26 for a security screening.
U.S. European Command is one of the United States' two forward-deployed Geographic Combatant Commands whose area of focus cover almost one-fifth of the planet, including all of Europe, large portions of Asia, parts of the Middle East and the Arctic and Atlantic Oceans. The command is responsible for military relations with NATO and 51 countries with a total population of close to a billion people.
