Michael Garrett, commanding general of USARCENT and key personnel to discuss multiple topics as the two forces continue to build on their enduring partnership.

"This visit to USARCENT is important to both our armies and our nations and affirming our commitment," said Khaled.

"This visit is significant in continuing to build the relationship we have built with them throughout the years and shows their commitment and our commitment," said Lt. Col. Walid Nasr, the central gulf security cooperation branch chief for USARCENT.

"The Kuwaitis provide safety and security of our Soldiers stationed in their country, so having Major General Khaled coming here helps us continue to build our military to military relationship," said Nasr.

Kuwait and the United States has one of the most important allied relationships in the region and the U.S. have a strong defense cooperation agreement with them that allows USARCENT to support not only our Soldiers but support their Soldiers as well, said Col.
