RHC-P honors Soldiers, civilians in award ceremony

JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD, Wash. - More than a dozen Regional Health Command-Pacific (RHC-P) team members were recognized by Brig. Gen. Bertram C. Providence, RHC-P's commanding general, during an April 4 ceremony at JBLM.

During the event, four Meritorious Service Medals were presented to departing personnel, Lt. Col. Amy Bird, Master Sgt. Dedraf Blash, Sgt. 1st Class Jamie Laurent and Sgt. 1st Class Alma Selvera; two Commander's Award for Civilian Service were presented to Robert Hamilton and Thu Tran, RHC-P's Employees of the Year; three Civilian Service Awards were presented to Mike Reninger, 40 years of service, Leslie Cooper, 35 years of service, and Kirstin Anderson, 15 years of service; and an Employee of the Quarter award was presented to Jennifer Wright.

Providence also hailed the newest members of the RHC-P team, Master Sgt. Jeremy Scott, Veronica St. Clair, Sgt. Justin Nachtweih, and Basannya Adepaegba. The commanding general congratulated all of the awardees on their accomplishment and offered best wishes to the departing personnel.
