REDSTONE ARSENAL, Alabama -- One of the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Forces Strategic Command's executive officers retired recently.

Sharon Crawford, executive officer to the deputy to the commander, USASMDC/ARSTRAT, retired at the command's Redstone Arsenal headquarters March 31.

During the ceremony Crawford received the Superior Civilian Service Award, an American flag, a certificate of appreciation, a three-star note, and a certificate of retirement and pin.

Crawford retires with more than 26 years of federal civilian service.
