The 10th Army Air and Missile Defense Command 5th Battalion, 7th Air Defense Artillery Regiment hosted Chief Warrant Officer 5 Christopher Wehmeier, Chief Warrant Officer of the Air Defense Artillery Branch from March 21-24.

The ADA CWOB discussed a deluge of Army-wide warrant officer related discussion points including ADA warrant officer shortages, ADA warrant officer accessions and the ADA commandant's vision for the ADA branch.

He also discussed the ADA Commandants approval and way ahead to expedite the Military Occupation Specialty split from the140E MOS to the140K and140L MOS as well as the Army's Chief of Staff approved Warrant Officer 2025 Strategy with 10th AAMDC and 5-7 ADA leadership.

The primary focus was on the creation and accessions of MOS 140K and 140L and the four lines of effort outlined in Warrant Officer 2025 Strategy including: Accessions, Leader Development, Talent Management and Professionalism.

Additionally, the ADA CWOB, received a Strong Europe, 10th AAMDC level intelligence, operations and interoperability briefs regarding the10th AAMDC mission and how it directly supports U.S. Army Europe, United States European Command, The Headquarters Department of the Army and the Air Defense Artillery branch.

The CWOB executed two WOLPD's sharing in depth ADA warrant officer initiatives, HQDA level warrant officer initiatives in support of Army

Senior Warrant Officer Counsel, while simultaneously presenting numerous coins of excellence to warrant officers assigned to the 10th AAMDC.

The awards he presented to soldiers were for winning HQDA Best Supply Support Activity, USAREUR Army Award for Maintenance Excellence, USAREUR Deployment Readiness Award, USAREUR Runner-up General Douglas MacArthur Leadership Award Winner and USAREUR level culinary competition awards.

Additionally he recognized three consecutive Warrant Officer

Advance Course Distinguished Honor Graduates, Army MDAA Defender of the

Year and ADA Branch Shipton award. Furthermore.

Wehmeier conducted two warrant officer recruiter briefs to more than 60 warfighters on accessions requirements for all Army warrant officer MOS's. Finally, the mentorship, advice, guidance and counsel was invaluable and will significantly enable shared understanding in the future development of our organization's warrant officer cohort.
