Read Across America week at Ansbach

ANSBACH, Germany -- Students of Millie Cordoba's first grade class, principal Essie Grant, and Hellen O'Donnell, reading specialist, are helped by the Cat in the Hat (Ramona Kechelen) signing the "I Pledge to Read Every Day," banner at the Ansbach Elementary School library, kicking off Read across America week at U.S. Army Garrison Ansbach. The Cat visited the school March 2, stopping by every classroom to let students know of the importance of reading. And during lunch periods, special Cat in the Hat cakes were served.
