New Fort Benning Wellness Center to focus on "Soldier athlete"

FORT BENNING, Ga. -- Fort Benning's new Army Wellness Center officially opened for business with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Jan. 30 featuring remarks from Maj. Gen. Eric Wesley, Commanding General, Fort Benning and the Maneuver Center of Excellence.

The state-of-the-art facility will focus on the Maneuver Performance Triad, a comprehensive fitness strategy emphasizing the performance and health of Soldiers.

The Army Wellness Center is available at no cost to Soldiers, family members, retirees and Department of the Army civilians in the Fort Benning Community. (Video courtesy of Benning TV)
