Brig. Gen. Jack Haley, center, Commander of the 593rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command from Joint Base Lewis McChord, visits with Col. Douglas McBride, left, and Command Sgt. Maj. Marco Torres, right, 13th Expeditionary Sustainment Command command team on Feb. 1, 2017 on Fort Hood.

Haley and his team are here to support the 13th ESC's Warfighter exercise by role-playing the "higher command element."

As HICON, Haley's team will inject situations and requirements into the exercise that will force the 13ESC to anticipate and react to fluid battlefield scenarios to ensure the 13th is trained and ready to deploy and support combat operations anywhere in the world.
