With just 22 days to go before his big night on Christmas, Santa visited Camps Walker and George on December 3, with his friends from the USO, Walker Fire Station, Daegu Road Dragons Motorcycle Club, and the local Korean National Police Department.

He traded his reindeer and sleigh for a nice shiny firetruck with a Harley motorcycle and police escort to tour the area and spread good cheer as part of the Marines "Toys for Tots" toy drive.

Santa, his escort and the motor officers brought gifts and took pictures with our local children and their families. The gifts were provided for children at a local orphanage.

"This event and our troops dedication shows the commitment that we have for our community, and this is something that we would never put off or delay" said Mr. Tom Steward, chapter president DRD MC.

The ride, which has become a yearly tradition, set out from Camp George. They rode down local streets within the local Korean community where Santa waved to many families and little ones along the way.

While the DRD, Marines, KNP, USO and fire station of the local community look forward to this ride every year, today's ride is extra special after many of the participants reflected and conversed on the true importance of this holiday season.

Thinking of the many years we have been at war, hopefully, this event will raise the spirits of the community and the Army units as a whole.
