Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center's atrium was ringing with music amidst the aroma of a smorgasbord of celebratory food Dec. 15 during the hospital's annual holiday celebration. As employees and guests prepared to feast on steamship round, cranberry sage stuffed chicken, glazed carrots, fried green tomatoes, tamales and crab cakes, diners received personal holiday greetings from the hospital commander, Col. Mark Thompson, and Command Sgt. Maj. Gary Williams. Also on hand greeting diners was Chaplain (Lt. Col.) Darren Coleman, chief of CRDAMC's Department of Ministry and Pastoral Care.

In addition to the food, which was dished out by various command teams within the CRDAMC footprint, holiday cheer was spread throughout the hospital by various musical groups during the inaugural holiday musical series, which was sponsored by CRDAMC's ministry team.

CRDAMC kicked off the holiday season Dec. 2 with its Christmas tree and Menorah lightings.
