REDSTONE ARSENAL, Alabama - The U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Forces Strategic Command's Internal Review director retired recently.
Sheree Thompson, the director since 2009, retired among friends and coworkers at the command's Redstone Arsenal headquarters Dec. 13.
During the ceremony Thompson received the Superior Civilian Service Award, an American flag, a certificate of appreciation, a three-star note, and a certificate of retirement and pin.
Thompson retired with more than 36 years of federal service.
