Mentorship Program graduation ceremony held at ASC Headquarters

ROCK ISLAND ARSENAL, Ill. -- A graduation ceremony was held for participants in U.S. Army Sustainment Command's 2016 Mentorship Program, here, Dec. 14. This was the first group to graduate from the revamped Mentorship Program in several years.

The ASC Mentorship Program provides new Rock Island Arsenal employees with opportunities to build personal and professional relationships with senior RIA personnel.

Col. Lance R. Koenig, chief of staff, ASC, thanked mentors for volunteering, and encouraged mentees to take what they gained from the experience with them throughout their careers.

ASC Mentorship Program mentee graduates were: Lauren Aggen, equal employment specialist; Wesley Coverdill, logistics management specialist; Kevin Fleming, public affairs specialist; Kristi Francis, logistics management specialist; Timmy Gray, logistics management specialist; Kpakpo Hounsouke-Akue, auditor; Nichol Nichols, logistics management specialist; Galen Pankratz, plans analyst; Hope Sanders, human resources specialist; Lisa Schwarz, logistics management specialist; Jessica Spoljoric, logistics management specialist; and Kimberly Valvo, programs specialist.
