Sergeant Morales Club Continues to Grow in Bavaria

HOHENFELS, Germany -- The Bavarian Chapter of the Sergeant Morales Club inducted five new members in to their prestigious ranks here, Dec. 7, 2016. SFC Edward Jervis, SSG Robert E. Carter, SSG Danny Gardner, 1SG Ryan Longacre and SFC Megan R. Brown were all inducted, with 1SG Longacre and SFC Brown being inducted as honorary members through their accomplishments as Audie Murphy Club members.

Established in 1973 by Lt. Gen. George S. Blanchard, the Sgt. Morales Club promotes the highest ideals of integrity, professionalism and leadership for enlisted Soldiers serving in Europe. The organization embraces the same attributes as the U.S. Army's Sergeant Audie Murphy Club with membership being exclusive and earned through a challenging, competitive process.

These five JMRC noncommissioned officers exemplify a special kind of leadership characterized by a personal concern for the needs, training, development and welfare of Soldiers. Sergeant Morales Club membership recognizes and honors distinguished NCOs who have contributed significantly to developing a professional NCO Corps and a combat effective Army.
