Volunteers read to children as part of Dr. Seuss Day

March 2 was the birthday of Theodore Geisel, better known as Dr. Seuss. Dr. Seuss Day is now in its twelfth year as an annual nationwide reading celebration, "Read Across America," sponsored by the National Education Association (NEA).
